The gorgeous Cinque Terra

A couple of days ago, i walked the famous Cinque Terra - 5 villages linked by a walking path along the dramatic coastline of Linguria. It was a gruelling 14km up and down mountains. well it wasn't too bad... only the last section was tough, the fact that we were doing it in 35 degree heat didn't really help either.
I will endevour to post a picture as soon as i find an internet cafe with a card reader. Tomorrow i go to the fashion capital of Milan. I have no idea what to expect, but who knows... could see one of the 25 million america's next top models...
Then the next day will have a day on Lake Como, to spot George Clooney's house nonetheless.
No... i don't really care about all this superficial stuff... just really enjoying exploring this fabulous country.

A taste of the north...

So i'm finally going to be trained on another trip, well half of one anyway. Tommorrow i'll head to Lucca to join another trip as a trainee and we go onto Levanto to walk the cinque terra. Here i'll watch Australia give all that they have got against Italy in the next round of the World Cup. Still can't believe we got through - woo hoo!
Then we go onto Asti, then somwhere else near Milano, then to Venice. Then i have another week off and i'm probably going to come down and chill out at the Agritourismo place that i visit every week (its also a B&B) and do nothing except chill by the pool. Man i'm going to be super tanned after that! Will have to post a pick...

Back in Italy

Allora...
After a lovely week in London, I'm now back at work in Tuscany. And it's hot! Nice and dry, so all good. Next week i'll be training on another trip and finally get to go to the Cinque Terra! Can't wait! Will finish in Venice, then i have another week off. Am thinking Croatia - its a bit early, but a relaxed week on a beach sounds lovely...
My mate said i was a geek for having a blog... so i say- Geeks are Cool!

Off to Wales

Considering i'm an 'Evans' it wasn't going to be long until i'd be heading to the home country of my ancestors. Been there briefly last summer on my UK tour, i'm very much looking forward to this little wkd away. 2 nights accomodation, transport and food and canoeing all for 60 pounds! Now thats what i call NICE. Thanks Andrea for the tip and the offer! And with 30 degree celcius expected... ah, u just can't beat summer.

35year Birthday

The Hard Rock Cafe in London today celebrates its b'day.
So, to celebrate, they are opened between 12pm and 12am today and all the menu will be available at the original 1971 prices! So we're talking 55p for a gourmet burger... not bad!

Not sure if i'll make it in... as the tube ticket brings the whole experience up to a normal price anyway, plus the queue i'm sure would be in true english style.

So, let's not, and say we did!

So yeah, this is me on a gorgeous day (bellisimo giourno) in the tuscan countryside. It on the day that i go for a bike ride along the city walls of Lucca and then along the river serchio.

The poppy fields are stunning, however they are slowly disappearing, the sunflowers will be out soon.

Wow - my very own webpage!

Very exciting indeed!

Thought this would be a great way to let people know of my adventures.

Am in London this week, loving the heat and i've definately got a fever - football fever that is!
Go aussie go!
Australia 3-1 Japan
Nice one!

So, until i work out how to make the most of this blog...
