This pic gives an idea of the trance party that we went to... I wore all white the entire time i was there, so i looked mad under these UV lights as u could imagine!

Here I am with Patricia. It fell to about -50 degrees at this party as it was in the desert and these blankets absolutely saved us!

In pushkar getting another henna tatoo from one of the beautiful gypsies.

The gorgeous sunset in Pushkar

The gorgeous Shai...

Me trying to play a gypsy instrument!

So much colour in India! You turn a corner and a picture perfect scene is awaiting your camera!

Me fire twirling! I did actually have one of the poi's hit me in my face, didn't hurt just left a big black mark and me laughing!

This was the magical backdrop for a horseride i did in Pushkar... bellisima!

The beautiful Shiva statue on the Ganga, Rishikesh

Me and Guddu - a wicked local guy in Rishikesh. Took me to a beautiful waterfall in the mountains (background).

Incredible India part 2.

So taking off from where i left it last time...
Some Israeli guys came to our guest house in Mt Abu. They were fab and we hung out the next few days, cruising around on scooters. Seb and I left to go back to Pushkar just for the Prem Joshua concert. Prem Joshua (and band) is a German guy who plays the sitar, flute and sings - so traditional indian music with beats... very contempory, very funky, very cool. The concert was in a temple, so it really was magical - probably the best night i had in India, truely amazing. So if you are into ur world music - check out Prem Joshua.
After 2 days back in Pushkar we left for Delhi. We 'couchsurfed' Abishek's couch (spare room really). Seb left early monday morning to return to the UK to face up to responsibilities and get a job, and i spent the day exploring and shopping in Praha Ganj and discovered i really enjoy assembling jewellery! To add to my utility belt collection, i also bought leather sandels, leather skirts with pockets and a few other miscellanious bits and pieces...
Finally the next day i left Delhi for Rishikesh. Its the world capital for Yoga, and i can promise you i did nothing of the type! Instead i went white water rafting (wow, so much fun, can't wait to do it again!) chilled at the beach (Rishikesh is on the holy Ganga River, its at the base of the mountains and so its really clean - but freezing) and met lots of great people. On the friday night i went to a poetry night put on by this english bloke called 'Paradoxxx'. Awesome. This guy really understands whats going on. Luckily for those in the UK, he does the summer festival circuit, so keep an eye out for him. He is in India because he is writing a book: 'confessions of a narcissist', and i can promse you it will be good. I hung out with him afterwards and he is just superb. Had a brief visit to The Beatles ashram, but unfortunately it is derilect and shut up.
Then i headed back to Delhi, spent the day trying to pack my bags and catching up with friends then caught my plane at 11pm on sunday night. Got into Malaysia the next morning and had to wait 16hrs, so went ton a (terrible) city tour. Well, for what i thought was still a developing country, Kuala Lumpar is the most modern, well planned perfect city i have ever seen. But i was too tired to enjoy it!
Now i am finally back home and after my 18hr sleep i just had (believe it or not!) and i'm starting to feel back to normal. My sister is putting on a welcome back party for me with my family on friday night, and my best friend is having her 25th birthday on sat, and then of course my Robbie Williams concert is on sunday night... so all in all a great weekend coming up ahead of me.

Spot on...

This is a passage from Paulo Coelho's 'By the river Piedra, I sat down and Wept':

The world is at a point when many people are receiving the same order: 'Follow your dreams, transform your life, take the path that leads to God. Perform your miracles. Cure. Make prophecies. Listen to your guardian angel. Transform yourself. Be a warrior, and be happy as you wage the good fight. Take risks.'

I concur!
