A week in London

What a great week i have had catching up with friends here in London! Tuesday, caught up with my brother Simon for lunch, then we met up with a friend of mine, Carly, and went to check out the Tate Modern, before heading to Brick Lane for dinner where Vanilla and Dan joined us. Then we went to a live music peformance... something a little different. One of the reasons why i love London - there is so much going on here, so multicultural... It's fantastic!
The next day did some chores and shopping, then went out for a cheap night at 'cheapskates' in Soho. Thursday hung out with Vanilla, then went to Carey and Lisa's place for wine, dinner, wine, a good chat and some more wine. Friday - went to the London Wine show (incase i hadn't had enough wine!) with Simon and another friend Lisa & Tom. Was loads of fun... went out in the west end briefly after that... Saturday went to Camden Markets then to catch up with Sam in the afternoon. Saturday night we got dressed up and headed out for a mulletover party in farrington. There was Andrea and Dan, Vanilla and Dave and I... Seb and his mates joined us so we had a quite a crew and a very fun night as the pics show... A little messy, but great memories as usual!

Here are some pics from the last few weeks in Italy too... Me with the Bridge of Sighs in the background in Venice. And me with my friends, Giak and Francesco who i stayed with in Milan for a few days.

Finished

So i'm now unemployed again. And its a nice feeling. Love my job as a Tour Leader, but my next little adventure wandering around India (again) will be rewarding i am sure. Finished off my season with a fantastic group and a fantastic trip - long lasting memories. I will miss this beautiful, albeit a little crazy country, Italy. I have met some amazing people, started to grasp another language (which is difficult for us Aussies!), seen breathtaking scenery, and eaten and drunk myself silly! I can't wait to return...
