What have i been doing?

Its rare to find decent internet access in the small, charming villages that i have been in in the past month, hence the lack of communication. Now that i am in Puri, apparently the best place to visit in the state of Orissa, i have found both fast connection and lack of interesting things to do here, therefore a day on the internet, i have had.

Now i left off in Arambol, Goa. So after exactly 2 weeks there, Kim, Lisa, Josefine and i got a taxi 4 hours down the coast, to Gokarna, northern Karnataka. We stayed on Om beach, a beautiful beach shaped like the 3 of an om, there is a rocky headland in the middle. The third night i think after we got there was full moon, and recognising about 15 people from the last west end party we all proceeded to have a cracker of a night, and being full moon, some mad things certainly happened! Ask me when you see me for more info on this ;)
The following week was a complete konundrum with loads of partying, chilling and sharing with this 'tribe'. Then my Israeli family from Arambol joined us in Om beach. Is was great to see them again, especially Gal.

The tribe eventually all went there seperate ways, and i went to Hampi with the Israelis. Wow - what a magical place! My favourite place in India so far... the pictures speak for themselves. Plus i got to know Gal and the rest of the gang - Shiran, Avi, Yoni, Tom and Liran more and they are just the greatest bunch of people ever! I love them, each of them have their own great qualities and they are very special indeed. I have also started to learn Hebrew, as is necessary if you are to hang out with 2 or more of them at once. Hampi is simply stunning, the contrast of the lush green of the rice fields and the desolate boulder-strewn landscape is truely mesmerising. We would go to the lake to swim and go adventuring, climbing on rocks most days. The guest house we stayed in was so comfortable that relaxing there was just as enjoyable as anything. We went and played with monkeys at the Hanuman temple and smoked chillum with some babas. I even rode a scooter a little bit! The family moved on to Chennai, all six of them on 3 Royal Enfield bikes - a two day drive, where they are going to Andaman Islands. I am now in Puri, which is a little unexciting, but am going to Kolkata tonight.

So thats me.

Enjoy the pics!

oh, i'm going to extend my trip and go trekking in Nepal in April - Yay!
